Gwyneth Paltrow is helping Astronomer turn lemons into lemonade.

Nearly two weeks after Andy Byron, the tech company’s married CEO, was caught on a Coldplay concert kiss cam with his arms around Astronomer HR executive Kristin Cabot, the Goop founder, 52, starred in a new ad for the company. Paltrow's ex-husband, Chris Martin, played a key role in the viral moment.

The video was shared to the company’s social media accounts and captioned, “Thank you for your interest in Astronomer.”

Paltrow, who was married to Martin from 2003 until 2016, appears in business casual attire, sitting at a desk for a quick announcement.

“I’ve been hired on a very temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300-plus employees at Astronomer,” she said. The Marty Supreme actress added that the company had received “a lot of questions over the last few days” since the scandal went viral.

Cabot is also reportedly married. Both she and Byron have since resigned from the company.

After her introduction, Paltrow explained that she would be answering the most common questions Astronomer has received thus far — the first being, “OMG! What the actual f---?”

In a hilarious twist, the Iron Man actress dodged the inquiry.

“Yes, Astronomer is the best place to run Apache Airflow, unifying the experience of running data, ML and AI pipelines at scale,” Paltrow said, using her opportunity as temporary spokesperson to highlight what Astronomer does.

The next question to Astronomer was, “How is your social media team holding —”

Before the full question could appear on the screen, Paltrow again pivoted, mentioning that the company still has room for their Beyond Analytics event in September.

Without answering any of the burning questions, Paltrow concluded, “We will now be returning to what we do best, which is delivering game-changing results for our customers. Thank you for your interest in Astronomer.”

During the July 15 concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., a cameraman was panning across the crowd when Byron and Cabot were spotted. In a video shared to TikTok, the former CEO stood behind her with his arms wrapped around her waist.

"Oh, look at these two,” Martin, 48, said as the former coworkers desperately tried to dodge the camera. “All right, c'mon, you're okay.”

The seemingly confused singer continued, “Oh, what? Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy.”

When Bryron’s resignation was announced, the company said, "Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met."

Astronomer cofounder and chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy has since been named interim CEO.
