When the Season 12 standout and Season 13 champ showed up at the top of the stairs on the first day of the CBS summer show’s newest season, the houseguests had an understandable set of mixed emotions. But the blasts from the past were not over, as Season 20 winner Kaycee Clark also made an appearance inside the house — and it all has to do with a brand-new twist.

As fans have inferred via the Big Brother27 live feeds, during this week’s Head of Household competition, a few players were given the opportunity to acquire game-changing powers. Keanu Soto earned the ability to “double his chances” of winning the Power of Veto. And, considering he was nominated the next day as the target of HoH Jimmy Heagerty, he immediately chose to invoke his advantage.
Through the events of today on the live feeds, we discovered that doubling Keanu’s chances meant bringing in a “ringer.” Rather than six current houseguests competing in the Power of Veto, Kaycee would take up one of those slots. And, if the vet beat the rookies, she would win the Veto for Keanu, allowing him to remove himself from the block.
Kaycee first entered the Big Brother house on Season 20 back in 2018. A football player at the time, she was known for excelling in the competitions, including two HoHs and five Vetos. In the end, she beat runner-up TylerCrispen in a tightly-contested 5-4 vote. Kaycee then took her athleticism to The Challenge, where she has competed on the MTV reality stalwart on and off since 2020. That is where she met her ex-fiancée Nany Gonzalez, with the two breaking off their engagement earlier this year.
Kaycee’s appearance on Big Brother 27 is a quintessential example of “expect the unexpected.” Specifically because the winner proved to be victorious once more, getting the much-needed Veto for Keanu. It’s certainly a reaction that will have the personal trainer and dungeon master yelling, “Let’s go!” in exaltation.
