Tommy Paul aced it!

The professional tennis star, 28, popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, model and influencer Paige Lorenze — and she said "yes." The couple, who went public with their romance in 2022, shared the engagement news via a joint Instagram post on Sunday, July 13.

"Forever," Lorenze simply wrote, alongside a series of photos of the romantic moment, which appeared to take place on a beach.

One image shows the couple embracing, both dressed in white. Lorenze, 27, wore a white floral lace dress, while Paul sported a white button-down shirt and jeans. Another photo offered a closer glimpse of Lorenze's large, rectangular-shaped diamond ring as she rested her hand atop Paul's.

A final picture perfectly captured the joy-filled moment as Paul and Lorenze embraced in the sand along the shore.

The couple's loved ones filled the comments of the post with well-wishes, including April Love Geary, who wrote, "YAY! So happy for you guys 😍."

On her Instagram Stories, Lorenze shared another photo of her dazzling ring as she wore a white robe. She also reshared a friend's photo showing herself holding a celebratory glass of wine — with the ring on full display — as she wore a white halter-style dress with a rosette detail.

While it's unclear when Paul and Lorenze first began dating, they made their relationship Instagram official in October 2022 when the Olympic tennis champ posted a carousel with the caption, “Photos by P.” The last snapshot in the set captured the couple smiling together.

The following month, the Dairy Boy founder posted an Instagram reel — showing the pair hugging before walking down the street with their arms around each other. In the caption, she declared herself a “@tommypaull super fan.”

Since then, Lorenze has been spotted supporting her now-fiancé at his tennis matches all over the world. She cheered on Paul from the stands when he reached a major career milestone at the 2023 Australian Open, becoming the first American man to advance to the semifinals of the Melbourne tournament since 2009.

During his quarterfinal win against Ben Shelton, Paul took a moment to give Lorenze a sweet shout-out during an on-court interview. “It’s my girlfriend Paige’s birthday tomorrow,” he told the crowd. “So, if you guys see her, make sure you wish her a happy birthday.”

Lorenze later told Sportskeeda that she was "so proud of Tommy."

“I love watching Tommy play, and he's so deserving of all the success he’s had,” she said, praising Paul's “amazing sportsmanship" and describing him as a "gracious competitor."

Lorenze, a former competitive skier, also shared that Paul was teaching her how to play tennis. “Tommy has been giving me tennis lessons, and I have been playing at home. I’m definitely getting the hang of it," she told Sportskeeda.

However, in April 2025, Paul admitted to PEOPLE that the sport has become a "sore subject" between the two.

"I'm going to get in trouble for this because I always tell her that I'll go out and play tennis with her, and then I always get lazy when it's my time to wind down and I never end up going out with her on the court," he said.

Still, he said he's "pretty impressed" by Lorenze's tennis skills when the couple does have an opportunity to play together.

"She plays pretty good, she has the strokes down. She knows what she's doing on the court," he added.
