While one of Mandy Moore's favorite roles is Jamie Sullivan in the romantic drama A Walk to Remember, her husband Taylor Goldsmith apparently has not seen the classic 2002 Nicholas Sparks movie adaptation.

The This Is Us actress stopped by the Not Gonna Lie podcast and told host Kylie Kelce that her singer hubby recently fibbed about watching the film to a friend.

"I think he lied the other day," she said. "Somebody was like, 'A Walk to Remember is so sad.' He's like, 'Yeah, so sad.' I'm like, 'You've never seen it.'"

A Walk to Remember was the former pop star's first foray into acting. Moore said she really wanted the role because she was a massive fan of author Nicholas Sparks. Over two decades after the movie's release, she shared that it's "incredible" that young people are still discovering Jamie and Landon's (Shane West) bittersweet love story.

"I loved this story and, you know, to eventually get the part and be a part of telling this story was just like a real boon," she said.
